Founded in the spring of 2008 by Baron Charlie Lush and Eddy Buchan, The Dunkeld Company of Archers and The Dunkeld Company of Field Archers practise and host competitions in the beautiful grounds of Dunkeld Park in the heart of Perthshire. While the flat and regularly maintained target lawn might have been specifically designed for the task, the rolling banks beneath a wooded and mountainous backdrop provide a wonderful setting for the field archers. Furthermore, with easy access from the A9, ample parking and the use of hotel facilities, it is the ideal location for archery events, a calendar of which can be found on the Events page.

While the DCA is primarily, though not exclusively, a longbow-only club, the DCFA is affiliated to the NFAS and caters for all bowstyles. Participants should also note that while club membership and affiliation to a recognised archery organisation is preferred and will be closely monitored, everyone using the Hilton facilities at Dunkeld Park is required to sign the Hilton Health and Safety Register which automatically covers them for insurance purposes. Dunkeld Park is home to the Dunkeld Shooting Academy which, on a daily basis, instructs guests in the art of shooting shotguns, rifles and bows often for the first time so we are well-equipped to deal with all issues relating to Health and Safety and Child Protection.
